Fluorescent tubes recommended for offices
Companies considering a lighting retrofit to reduce their outgoings and improve the illumination of their offices should think about opting for fluorescent tubes, an expert has stated.
According to Heritage Electric, smilight tubes and similar products offer a very high quality of light and generally have a low energy use.
"I believe that the best solution to retrofit a fluorescent light is a fluorescent light," said a representative of the firm.
"Fluorescent lighting these days produces very high quality light," he added.
The expert recommended that those replacing their T12 fluorescent tubes should try to get the highest rebates they can find as this might` lower the cost of the installation.
Earlier this month, LUXADD unveiled a new retrofit kit to help individuals and firms considering switching from T8 fixtures to energy saving bulbs.
Using the Express T5 Retrofit Kit could see companies save up to 60 per cent on their energy bills, the manufacturer asserted.
