Dimplex 5 Stage Air Purifier with True HEPA Filter - DXBRVAP5
This 5 stage Dimplex air purifier boasts a four stage filtration system which incorporates True HEPA filtration and Germicidal UV-C defence technology. Many competitor air purifiers are large and bulky, however, this Braav model is small and discreet. The Germicidal UV-C defence technology helps kill viruses and germs whilst the True HEPA filter removes 99.97 of harmful particles from the air including pet dander, dust, pollen, mould spores and bacteria. The Brava helps to remove prticles as small as 0.3 microns and VOC's (volatile organic compounds) which are known to trigger hayfever and other sever respiratory conditions including chronic obstructive pulmonary diease (COPD). Additionally, there is a Matter sensor (PM) which measures PM particles down to 2.5 microns which are invisible to the human eye. The sensor displays how dirty yoru indoor air is and provides a reading and colour changing light to indicate how clean or dirty the air is (Blue-clean,Yellow-moderate,Amber-lightly polluted,Red-heavily polluted). There is an auto mode on the unit which will alter the fan sppeed in accordance with how dirty the air is.
With a modern design and small footprint it is ideally suited to sit on a bedside table, kitchen sideboard or chest of drawers. The air purifier will clean the air in 15 minutes improving the IAQ (indoor air quality) of rooms up to 25m². It features a sleep mode which switches off all visible lights on the product and the low speed setting can be activated which is ideal for night time use. In contrast, the turbo fan setting comes in handy for fast odour removal which can be used to cleanse the air after cooking or in a room with an pen window where pollen has entered.
The 12 hour runback timer allows you to set a timer in one hour increments between 1 and 12 hours and the unit will operate for the chosen period before switching itself off.
